Sometimes your loved one doesn’t need 24-7 companionship, or that higher level of supervision that a Sober Companion provides. In some cases the most pressing need is for someone to be available 100% of the time, but not present all the time. You know, someone who you know is going to check in, someone who you can call in a crisis or when you find yourself at a crossroads. Someone who has not only been there before, but knows the way to get there: forever recovery. That is your Recovery Coach.
Based on the 12-Step model of a sponsor/sponsee relationship, we take it to another level. There is random drug testing, skill building, scheduled and impromptu meetings, and constant call and text availability. Your Recovery Coach is someone who isn’t confused in the family dynamics, someone who knows the ins-and-outs of recovery. This is the person who will lead you out of treatment and into the rest of your life, setting you on the right path from the first footfall of sobriety.
The contract can last as long as you need it to, from a week to a year and anywhere in between. Regardless of the length of the contract, you will be building a relationship that has a lifelong impact on your sobriety.

"One day out of the blue, my sister Caroline, started acting so strangely. I couldn't understand it - it seemed that she had lost her mind. I came to find out through Brad’s help, that she had survived a huge trauma as a kid, and the pieces of her and us started falling into place. Caroline’s problem wasn’t just addiction, it was trauma underneath. Members of the family said she was just crazy, but we came to understand it wasn’t crazy, but simply sick. She broke free from so much with the help you gave her. We all did."
